Chinese Winners Come to Visit

Last week we welcomed six students and two teachers to the Coláiste from China - the winners of the Shamrock Cup. The Shamrock Cup is a sister competition to the Meihua Cup, where three of our student’s from the Coláiste and one teacher will visit Nanjing in three weeks time. Our student’s studied Chinese during the TY programme and took part in the Meihua Cup competition which they won last May.

During their time in the Coláiste our visitors made St Brigid’s Crosses, played bingo as Gaeilge, got to play the Bodhrán with the Trad group, learned how to Irish dance and took part in the ‘You Cant Stop The Beat’ TY drama performance 2025.
They had a very busy schedule while they were with us. We will meet them all in their schools in Nanjing when we visit.
