In October, three 5th year students Freya, Elaine and Lily along with Mr Curtin travelled to Nanjing and Shanghai in China for a once in a lifetime trip, after winning the Meihua Cup Competition in TY.

Congratulations to Ronan who received his results from the IMTA Maggie Gough Maths Competition. We're so proud of Ronan for scoring 97%, showing that his interest in maths and the hard work he puts into building his skills is really paying off.

A symphony of smiles today at City Hall!  Our students got to soak up some beautiful orchestral tunes and even rock out to a few pop hits. Massive thanks to the Cork Pops orchestra for making this annual outing such a major success!

Congratulations to Uzoma, Ava, Ellie, Louise and Brian on achieving their Papal and Gold Pope John Paul II Awards from Bishop Crean and CDYS last week.

Coláiste Pobail Naomh Mhuire are celebrating Lá Gaisce 2025. Our 4th, 5th and 6th year students are sharing stories of their growth and adventure, and their community action and challenges. 🌍💪

🎓Big shout-out to Ronan for taking part in the Maggie Gough IMTA Competition today as part of Maths Week.

The 5th year music students had a wonderful afternoon yesterday, rehearsing for their upcoming concert with the BandMates from Horizons Cope Foundation. We look forward to seeing the final performance in the next few weeks.

3rd and 6th yrs enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing and reflective retreat to Gougane Bara this term.

Well done to our boys U14 football team who took part in a football blitz in Mayfield on Tuesday. Everyone gave an outstanding effort 👏🏻👏🏻

Great result for our u17 hurlers today in the Munster Championship beating Coláiste Ide agus losef - Abbeyfeale by a score line of 2-17 to 0-07. Well done to everyone involved!

Our U16 and U19 boys basketball teams were out Tuesday for the first round of the South Munster Championship.

A great start to the year for our Senior Men’s & Ladies Football teams ⚽️ Our Senior’s kicked off their County Championship campaign with a win away to Midleton CBS on a scoreline of 3-11 to 2-7.

Super start to the camogie year with a great win over St Mary’s Mallow in the Junior competition. Fantastic display of teamwork and skill. Final score 6-10 to 0-3. Well done girls 👏 💙🤍

Well done to our 3rd, 4th & 5th Year students who took part in the first round of the Irish Maths Olympiad today!

Congratulations again to our Leaving Cert Class of 2025 on their amazing results.

Over the weekend, Nina competed at the WKO Low-Kick Kickboxing National Championships and won gold, earning the title of National Champion in her division.
