Well done to the group of lads who completed the safe pass course today at the Coláiste. This is one of the many courses that open doors to more job opportunities.

We are delighted to announce the 2025 Winners of UCC’s Special Achievement Cavanagh Awards are: Shona Matthews and Ines Kabanda (Gaeilge), Rhianna McGrath and Courtney Barrett (Maths), Darragh Woods and Chloe O’Connell (English), Niall Dollery and Calum O’Keeffe (European Languages).

Well done to the students in 2C who held a bake sale in aid of Autism Assistance Dogs, Ireland yesterday. Their bake sale was a fantastic success raising €400 for the charity.

Yesterday our 3rd year students took part in a JCSP Christmas Quiz. In a mix of questions ranging from Flags to Music to Anograms, team ‘Bruh’ emerged victorious 🏆 A big thank you to Ms. Lane for the huge amount of work put in!

A huge thank you to Carmel from @educ4sustain who completed an 8-week module with our 2B CSPE class. The students now have an awareness around the topics of climate literacy and sustainability ♻️ 👏🏻 

Olivia Reguejo completed a design for the 2024 Water We Want Global Competition which she won!. She is now representing Ireland as part of the global digital exhibition which is promoted by the Global Network of Water Competitions. 

Well done to the choir and ‘Declassified’ who performed so beautifully at the St Mary’s Christmas Carol service last Sunday night.

2B CSPE are taking part in an 8-week Climate Literacy module with Carmel Wright from Education for Sustainability.

Well done to Megan, Joshua and Jools who represented the Coláiste in the Munster Senior School Competition in UL last weekend. Lots of PB’s achieved and they did their school, and local swimming club very proud!! 💪🏼🏊🏼‍♀️

Our TY and 5th year students had the opportunity to complete the 'Safe Pass Health and Safety Awareness Training Course' over the weekend.

Huge congrats to our U16 girls on a great game & result today over Loretto Fermoy.

TY and 6th year Ag Science students paid a visit to Macroom Buffalo farm, owned by Mr. Johnny Lynch.

Some of the 3rd year English and Music students had a super workshop with GMC Beats before the Halloween break.

A big thank you to John Ryan for once again sponsoring another set of GAA jerseys for the Coláiste. John and his family have always been great to support our school teams, and hopefully we will see these jerseys being worn on successful teams at the end of the year 🏆
