500,000th User
On Monday last we celebrated Evan Lin, 1st year student, on becoming the 500,000th user of the Sora app. We were delighted to have Minister Michael Moynihan with us as our guest speaker to announce the winner. Kathleen Moran, Senior Project Librarian with the JCSP, along with her colleague Jayne Bingham, spoke about the fantastic work done by the Coláiste to highlight the importance of literacy & how reading can open a new world and captivate the imagination 🧠
This was a huge honour for the Coláiste, and we will continue to develop students' literacy through the use of the Sora app during our weekly Drop Everything And Read (DEAR) 📖 sessions.
